Zicaro struck out six and allowed just four hits.
"(Zicaro) really competed tonight and commanded the strike zone," C-NS coach Kevin Rockwell said. "He was really locked in and kept a good hitting team off-balance."
On the Wildcats' side, Ryan Klementowski went five innings and gave up four hits, a walk and struck out six.
"(Klementowski) pitched really well tonight," Rockwell said.
The Northstars' lone run came in the top of the sixth inning. With two outs, Anthony Testa reached base on an infield single. After Testa stole second base, Zicaro helped his cause on the mound by driving home Testa on a double.

For the Wildcats, Jake DePalma singled twice and Talon Elkins and Jacob Severson each contributed hits.
The Northstars face Fayetteville-Manlius at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. C-NS looks to redeem itself after back-to-back losses to the Hornets in April.
"Hopefully we can play better the third time around," Rockwell said.
