The Cicero-North Syracuse boys lacrosse team followed up a one-goal loss to West Genesee with a 20-6 victory over East Syracuse Minoa in a non-league game on Saturday.

"The boys came out excited to get the bad taste out of their mouths after letting one slip away Thursday after controlling most of the game," said Northstars coach Chuck Wilbur.
Nine different C-NS players scored at least one goal Saturday, with Michael Koehler and John Carter leading the way by netting four goals apiece.
"Today we had a lot of guys contribute and had a good win against a very good ESM team as we head into the playoffs," added Wilbur.
Cicero-North Syracuse finished its regular season at 9-4 and will find out its next opponent on Wednesday night when the sectional seeding meeting is held. East Syracuse Minoa (9-5) had six different players score a goal. The Spartans are scheduled to travel to Jamesville-DeWitt on Tuesday to take part in the Salt City Athletic Conference Empire Division championship game.
