The Cicero-North Syracuse girls soccer team fell to Section II's Saratoga Springs in the regional finals last fall. On Tuesday, the Northstars flipped the script.
C-NS came out to a blistering offensive start in its subregional game on Tuesday at Chittenango High School and never looked back.
The Northstars scored four goals in the first half of their 5-3 win.

Evelyn Maglente put C-NS on the board just 90 seconds into the game.
It only took four and a half minutes for the Northstars to add to their lead.
This time, it was the freshman Sloane Raymond who scored to give her team a 2-0 lead.
With 26:36 left in the half, Raymond added her second goal of the game when she snuck one past the Saratoga Springs goalie.
Saratoga Springs responded with a goal with 24:13 left in the half, but C-NS was unfazed.
Abigail Mackey kicked a little dribbler that squeaked past the Blue Streaks' goalie to give C-NS a commanding 4-1 lead with 6:45 left in the first half.
Saratoga Springs scored once more to make the score 4-2 before half, but the early lead was enough to carry the Northstars the rest of the way.
Maglente added her second goal with just less than five minutes left in the game to ice it.
The Blue Streaks scored again, but it was too little, too late.
C-NS improves to 18-1 and advances to the regional finals. The Northstars will play either Section I's North Rockland or Section IX's Monroe-Woodbury.
The regional final will be played on Saturday at Nottingham High School.
