"It was a great way to finish," C-NS coach Jeremy Lenchert said. "It left us with a good feeling the rest of the way here."
Led by Emery Kozdemba and Abigail Mackey off the pitch, the Northstars overwhelmed Lowville from the start.
"Everyone got involved and finished well," Lenchert said. "We had plenty of players step up."
As the Northstars prepare for the Class AAA tournament, they will be on a quest for a third-straight sectional crown. C-NS is also looking to get over the regional-round hump. That is something they've fallen short on in the last couple of seasons.
"We started the season with states in mind," Lenchert said. "It's a group of players who have been driven to begin with because they want that sectional championship and more."
Lenchert anticipates that C-NS will be the top seed in the Class AAA tournament and get a bye into the semifinal round.
"We're feeling good about our chances," Lenchert said. "We have a great group of players and have the tools and talent to be successful."
Lowville finished its regular season with a 12-3-1 record.
