The Fayetteville-Manlius varsity boys basketball team topped Cicero-North Syracuse by a score of 67-59 on Friday in Salt City Athletic Conference Metro Division action.

The Hornets (4-2) have won four of their five games against the Northstars (7-2), dating back to the shortened 2021 COVID-19 season.
F-M led 36-19 at the break and maintained a balanced effort in the second half.
"We executed our game plan almost perfectly," F-M coach Luke Tucci said. "The kids came out with a lot of energy."
Trevor Roe paced F-M with a game-high 34 points.
"(Trevor) is a special kid. He can really, really score it," Tucci said. "He can score it in multiple ways. He helped us prevail for a win."
Also for the Hornets, Maxwell Danaher chipped in 10 points and Christopher Cleary had eight.
For C-NS, Reece Congel scored 24 points. Michael Gallo provided 16 points, while Andrew Benedict added 11.
Friday's matchup was also the Hornets' annual Pink Out game. All of the proceeds raised from Friday's game will go to Camp Good Days in Syracuse.
Tucci estimated that a couple $1,000 were raised Friday evening between concessions, ticket sales and selling Pink Out shirts. Tucci praised everyone involved in contributing funds throughout the game.
F-M faces New Hartford at Hamilton College this Sunday at 5 p.m. As for C-NS, they welcome Liverpool to its home court this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
