The Cicero-North Syracuse girls and Baldwinsville boys track and field squads went home with team titles from Thursday's SCAC Metro Division Meet at Liverpool High School.
The Northstars girls squad compiled a score of 175. Fayetteville-Manlius came in second (158) and Baldwinsville took third (73). Liverpool grabbed fourth (64) and West Genesee placed fifth (51).
For the boys team, the Bees finished with 183 points. F-M placed second (106), C-NS took third (87), West Genesee came in fourth (71) and Liverpool finished fifth (66).
Girls results
C-NS's Katie Putman picked up wins in the 1,500-meter run (4:29.43) and the 800 meters (2:12.78). The Northstars' 4 x 100-meter relay of Camryn Jacob, Grace Murray, Jessica Doty and Jaydin Mackey won in 52.6 seconds.
Hannah Boyle was victorious in the 400 meters for C-NS (59.76), and Mackey darted to victories in the 100 meters (12.99) and the 200 meters (26.39).
Also for the Northstars, Lilly Capria snatched wins in the high jump (5-1) and long jump (16-1). Morgan Hayes won the triple jump at 34-3.75.
F-M's 4 x 800 foursome of Isabella Adrian, Amelia Amack, Maria Khalifeh and Debbie Lucchetti won with a compiled time of 9:48.72. In the 4 x 400-meter relay, the Hornets' Adrian, Kaercher, Khalifeh and Maya McKenzie won in 4:12.09.
Izzie Sullivan raced to a win in the 3,000 meters (9:57.36) and Lucchetti was victorious in the 2,000-meter steeplechase (7:49.76). Brigid Teaken took home pentathlon honors at 2,198 points.
Also for F-M, Natalee Barber was victorious in the 100-meter hurdles (15.76) and Wren Usiatynski won the pole vault event (11-6).
Liverpool's Allie Cary won the shot put event (34-2.75). West Genesee's Alexcis Rydelek took home a win in the discus event (88-0).
The Bees' 4 x 100-meter relay of Malik Davis, Sam Mellinger, Brandon Levin and Kaleb Paul won in 43.53. Mellinger also won the 100-meter dash, finishing in 11.02.
Baldwinsville's Logan Hayes raced to victory in the 400 meters (51.9). Solomon Holden-Betts was victorious in the 800 meters (1:58.94) and the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:26.83).
In the 4 x 400 relay, Baldwinsville's Hayes, Jack McAllister, Levin and Owen Weaver won with a time of 3:27.47. In field events for the Bees, Weaver won the triple jump (40-10), Gibson Boudov was victorious in the discus (117-4) and Dan Ewald grabbed a win in the shot put (44-5.5).
Also for Baldwinsville, Tyler Rawlins won the pentathlon event with 2,528 points.
F-M's 4 x 800-meter relay of Ben Perry, Anthony Otis, William Seamans and Nolan McGinn was victorious in 8:12.98. McGinn picked up a win in the 3,200 meters (9:44.65). Trevor Krukin snatched a win in the high jump (5-10).
C-NS's Carlton Garnes leaped to a win in the 110-meter hurdles (15.69). In the pole vault, the Northstars' Gavin McAllister won at 10-6.
West Genesee's Dominick Burris was the long jump winner at 20-11. Liverpool's Ryan Hagan raced to victory in the 1,600 meters (4:14.61) and Nottingham's Jayceon McGrew won the 200-meter dash in 22.95.
