Luke Paragon scored 26 points in Cicero-North Syracuse's 71-60 victory over Fayetteville-Manlius in a Class AA showdown Friday evening.
"We played really well," C-NS coach Kyle Martin said. "We took care of the ball and got off great shots. Our defense was better tonight."

Martin noted Paragon's effort for the Northstars (11-5) was "pretty balanced all around."
"He let the game come to him," Martin said. "It was probably his best game of the season."
Three other C-NS players scored in double figures. Reece Congel finished with 13 points and Robbie Siechen and Andrew Benedict both had 10 points.
For the Hornets (10-5), Luke Davidson tallied 23 points. Maxwell Danaher scored 13 points and Daniel Stark and Trevor Roe had nine points apiece.
The Northstars held on to a 21-20 lead after the first quarter. The second quarter was all C-NS. It outscored F-M, 21-10, for a 42-30 advantage at the half.
The Hornets put together a 29-28 second half but the Northstars kept F-M at bay for the win.
C-NS hosts Liverpool (12-1) this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
"It's a rivalry game. (Liverpool) is a great team," Martin said. "We'll be ready to go and hopefully we can put forth a good effort."
