Benedict scored 27 of his points in the second half. He also hit six 3-pointers for the Northstars (8-4).
"He was awesome tonight. He didn't do anything different from what he's been doing all season," C-NS coach Kyle Martin said. "He shot the ball free and attacked the rim."
"Forty-one (points) is exceptional," Martin said. "We played faster tonight, so that allowed (Benedict) to get more touches."
C-NS led 52-30 at the half.
"We ran up and down the court and ran hard," Martin said. "We had a really talented group of basketball players tonight."
Reece Congel chipped in 18 points for the Northstars. Michael Gallo scored 17 points, and Terrance Coppock Jr. contributed eight points.
