The rainy weather didn't dampen the efforts of several cross country teams across Section III on Wednesday.

In a tri-meet with Cicero-North Syracuse and Nottingham, the host Baldwinsville boys team and the Cicero-North Syracuse girls team were winners.

The Bees Solomon Holden-Betts won the race in 17:52.1, followed by Ryan Quinn in second, at 17:54, and the Northstars Ashton Murdock, third, at 18:01.4.   In the girls race, the victorious Northstars were led by Kate Putman, in 18:54.0 and Gabrielle Putman and Marissa Navarra, both finishing in 20:13.0.
