Girls -Class A

Sullivan won the Class A title in 19:11.3. Her Fayetteville-Manlius team won the Class A team title and will advance to the state tournament.

Sullivan's time was the best of the entire meet.

"I'm really proud of how I did and especially for my team," Sullivan said. "We've worked hard all season and it really paid off today."

"I like running because it gives me a really big sense of purpose. I get to run with my girls and it's just been a wonderful addition to my life."

The five runners who qualified for the state meet, in addition to first-place winner Sullivan and the winning Hornets team, are Baldwinsville's Kamryn Barton, Auburn's Ali Pineau, Lioverpool's Kaitlyn Hotaling and Taylor Page, and Cicero-North Syracuse's Kennedy Jones.

In addition to Sullivan, the top five runners for Fayetteville-Manlius were Camille Ryan (fifth), Maria Khalifeh (seventh), Ava Beecher (ninth) and Jordan Giannetti (11th).
