Luke Paragon, Brian Bonin, Noah Wieczorek and Kevin Felasco combined for 63 points to lead Cicero-North Syracuse to a 73-54 victory over rival Liverpool in a Salt City Athletic Conference on Saturday.
"Knowing it was the last game of the season was an unusual way to go into a game, but we told our guys to literally leave it all out there," said Northstars first-year coach Kyle Martin. "To close it out with a win over such a good, well-coached rival is really special for our guys."
Paragon finished with a team-high 22 points, Bonin had 15, Wieczorek 14 and Felasco 12.
"We were struggling with ball screen over the past couple games and made an adjustment on that today," said Martin. "That allowed us to really defend Liverpool much better than the last game and get out and score a lot of transition points."
The Northstars (8-4) uses a 23-7 third quarter run to break open the game.
