Luke Paragon scored seven of his game-high 18 points in overtime to lead the Cicero-North Syracuse boys basketball team to a 57-54 overtime victory over host Henninger in a SCAC division game on Friday.
"We were very fortunate to pull out a tough road win, but games like these will make us better as we move forward," said Northstars coach Kyle Martin. "Henninger is an extremely good defensive team and they play really hard."
Henninger trailed 40-30 heading into the fourth quarter before going on a 16-6 run to tie the game at 46 and force the extra session.

The Black Knights' Omari Anderson scored six of his nine points in overtime. Lanair McMurren III led Henninger with 12 points.
Robbie Siechen hit four of six foul shots in the overtime to help secure the win.
"I thought both our senior captains, Luke Paragon and Robbie Siechen, really stepped up for us late," said Martin. "We give them the freedom to make plays and they both did."
