Once more, the neighborhood rivalry between Liverpool and Cicero-North Syracuse renewed itself, this time in girls tennis.
Clashing on a chilly Friday afternoon, the Warriors, aided by wins in all three of the singles matches, turned back the Northstars 5-2.
Playing a single set to 10 games, Angelica Underwood beat Eve Campolieto 10-2, with Gabby Underwood handling Autumn Brown 10-1 and Meghan Bell topping Abigail Bustin by that same score.
C-NS earned both of its points in doubles, where Krista Feeney and Cambrie Hubbard beat Diana Kozenyatko and Olivia Magnarelli 10-6 as Golden Duru and Brooke Ten Brink won 10-5 over Emma Mautro and Amira Sahilovic.
Countering with two doubles points of its own, Liverpool had Maiya Fitzgibbons and Chien Ying Lee win 10-4 over Jenna Mills and Karly Williams. Kelly Geiwitz and Ashleigh Rosen turned back Megan Johnston and Angel Luangaphay in a 10-6 decision.
