John is starting his 17th season as Varsity Coach of the CNS Basketball Team after completing 6 seasons as the JV coach and 2 as the modified coach.  He is a local product who played football, basketball, and baseball at Christian Brothers Academy, and is a 2002 inductee to the CBA Athletic Hall of Fame.  John was selected as a 1st team All NYS wide receiver in football, an all-league 2nd baseman in baseball, and a 5th team All NYS point guard.  John was awarded an Athletic Scholarship to LeMoyne College and played point guard for Coach John Beilein, now coaching the Cleveland Cavaliers.  John is one of only 2 guards in LeMoyne’s history with over 1,000 points and over 500 assists. His career numbers rank him 3rd all-time in assists, 6th in steals, and 24th in points scored.  John has a Master’s Degree from SUNY Cortland and is currently in his 25th year teaching 6th grade Math at Gillette Road Middle School.  He also is the modified C-NS football coach. John lives in Cicero with his wife Agnes, and their 19-year old son Kyle, and their 15-year old son Jason.
