Gabrielle Putman tallied four goals in Cicero-North Syracuse's 17-8 victory over Christian Brothers Academy in a non-league girls lacrosse game on Saturday.

"We finally figured some things out. It hasn't worked the past two games," C-NS coach Stephanie Prentice said, noting the two-game skid her team broke with Saturday's win. "We put things back together today."
Francesca Tortora chipped in three goals and three assists for the Northstars (3-3). Brooke Molchanoff finished with three goals, an assist and eight draw controls. Samantha Klein added two goals, while Molly McGrath collected four ground balls. Mackenzie Prentice contributed a goal and two assists. Shea Firth, Victoria Iannotti, Sophia Nesci and Gabriela Ciciarelli had a goal apiece. Nicole Mirra made three saves in goal.
"That's always something that's super important to us," Prentice said in regard to a plethora of players contributing for the Northstars on Saturday. "We like to get everybody involved. It's typically what we shoot for."
For CBA (1-4), Gracie Britton and Maeve Mackenzie both tallied three goals. Britton and Mackenzie also combined for three assists and nine draw controls. Sydney Vaughn and Amelia Bonacci both had a goal, and Lilah Kirch had an assist.
C-NS led 11-3 at the break and never looked back.
"We were pretty motivated to win," Prentice said. "We wanted to get back to a normal pace."
The Northstars host Liverpool at 7 p.m. Tuesday. CBA faces LaFayette this Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
