CNS Drains West Genesee 95-83

CNS won a close meet against West Genesee on Tuesday by a score of 95-83. Coming into the meet CNS knew its front line of swimmers would have to win races. They did by winning every first place in the meet except one, a second in diving. Caden Griffin won the 200 IM and the 100 Fly, Jacob Griffin won the 50 and 100 freestyle, Connor Burke won the Breaststroke, Noah Ritchie won the 500 freestyle, and Anthony Gabrielli won the backstroke. This was a total team effort however, and swims from the rest of the team were instrumental in the win. Noah Mingolelli placed second in diving, and Reece Balduzzi swam a lifetime best in the 100 Breaststroke for a second place, which gave the Northstars some much needed points. Another pivotal swim included a monumental time drop in the 500 free by Aaron Purdy to secure a much needed third place. Bryson Duncan powered to a third place in the 100 free, while Jacob Crandall snuck in for a 4^th place in the 50 free to secure some important points.
The Northstars look to finish strong with two regular season meets to go before Sectionals next month.
