Sydney Huhtala converted on all three of her penalty stroke opportunities to lead the top seed Baldwinsville field hockey team to the Class A sectional title with a 3-0 win over No. 3 Cicero-North Syracuse on Sunday at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School.

The sectional title is the second in a row, and the victory is the 18th consecutive for the Bees.
Baldwinsville advances to play Shenendehowa next Sunday at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School. Game time is to be determined.
"It was really nerve-racking at first, but once the first one went in, it felt great," said Huhtala.
The senior successfully converted on two more penalty strokes to help seal the Northstars win. Huhtala now has 10 goals on the season.
Baldwinsville goalie Nadia Kozman recorded eight saves and Bees defense registered its 11th shutout of the season.
Cicero-North Syracuse goalie Avery Richardson made 15 saves and helped keep the Northstars close in the early going.
