The Cicero-North Syracuse girls field hockey team won its ninth straight game of the season, 3-0, over Camden in a non-league contest. Jamie Snyder, Chrissy Wagner, and Gabby Wameling each scored a goal in the win.
"We have an extremely well-balanced team, and every girl on the team has played a role in the success of our team this year," said Northstars coach Patrick Kennedy. "The girls are practicing and playing hard every single day. And more importantly we are having a ton of fun!"
Snyder and Wameling lead the team in goals scored with six goals each, while Chrissy Wagner has four goals on the season. In all, ten Northstars players have scored at least one goal this season and the team has tallied 25 in its nine games.
Goalie Ally Wagner has only had to make just 18 saves this season and the Northstars defense has registered six shutouts while yielding just three goals.
